About Us

About Us – The Retreat
At The Retreat South Coast, we appreciate that recovery from addiction requires much more than discontinuing substance use. Effective recovery involves healing the whole person and helping them build a meaningful sober life. Located in the serene setting of Santa Ana, California, our treatment center provides a full continuum of evidence-based care for those battling addictions to drugs, alcohol, or prescription medications.
Our mission is straightforward but impactful: to provide compassionate, personalized treatment that addresses the root causes of addiction while equipping people with the tools to enable enduring recovery. With the proper support and guidance, anyone can overcome addiction and reclaim their health, relationships, and future.
Our Story
The Retreat South Coast was founded by a team of healthcare professionals with over 30 years in the recovery space who identified a gap in addiction treatment. Too often, they witnessed individuals cycling through recovery without receiving the comprehensive care they needed to address the nuanced nature of addiction. They envisioned a treatment center combining medical expertise with compassionate support. They created a place where individuals would be treated with dignity while receiving the highest standard of science-backed care.
What started with a vision for more effective addiction treatment has grown into a highly reputable rehab center serving the Southern California community. Our founders’ commitment to evidence-based practices, personalized treatment plans, and whole-person healing continues to guide everything we do at The Retreat South Coast.
